Ready For the Real World

Candid Sail is not a one-size-fits-all tool. Organizations have different appetites for risk, cost, and control. We offer a clear growth path: from pay-per-report access to fully sovereign on-premise deployments.
Dot-Com
Full access to the latest frontier models on a pay-per-report basis. No subscription, no commitment. We manages the infrastructure and AI provider relationships.
Caymin
Candid Caymin is a self-hosted lite deployment for organizations with in-house expertise. Low barrier to entry: no licensing cost, community support.
Hybrid
A full-featured deployment to your existing cloud environment. Built for organizations that need cloud scalability with greater data control.
Sovereign
Our most secure deployment. Runs on your hardware, using self-hosted AI models. Designed for air-gapped networks and classified enclaves.
Why More Than One?
Two big reasons: privacy and cost controls.

Privacy: Candid Sail does not process personally identifiable information (PII) nor do we store customer billing information, The number one question decision makers ask us about privacy: How can Candid Sail guarantee their plans are safe?

Cost control: Candid Sail pays metered rate to frontier AI providers, but charges a flat fee for our analysis and reporting. When a customer runs a report, they know the exact cost before they click "submit". Once a customer sees value in our service, and they imagine recurring costs, they ask about unlimited subscriptions.
There are two privacy risks common to all Internet based AI services:
-
Service: who collects the data?
-
Provider: who processes the data?

When a user subscribes to an LLM chat service, the model vendor trains the model, operates the service, and runs the servers — full control, but also full liability. Most embedded AI assistants route traffic through a third-party provider, making both the application and the model vendor privacy risks.

For organizations handling sensitive plans, proposals, or competitive strategy, neither scenario is acceptable.

Our deployment tiers map to your risk tolerance:
-
Caymin: You control service risk. Provider risk is unchanged.
-
Hybrid: Shared service risk in your cloud. Provider risk is unchanged.
-
Sovereign: You control both service and provider risk.

For government contractors operating under CMMC, FedRAMP, or air-gap requirements, Hybrid and Sovereign deployments are the relevant paths. Your team handles the accreditation — we handle the platform.
Cost Risk
Candid Sail is not a chat bot, it is an analytics system. That distinction matters for cost::
-
Operations: The web frontend and analytics backend.
-
Provider: The pass-through cost of AI model inference.

Subscription-based AI pricing eventually favors the vendor. "Unlimited" plans discount token costs to near operating cost — until usage grows and the economics shift. Candid Sail's architecture is designed to move quickly between AI models as the market evolves, which means our token costs will always shift. We absorb that in our fixed per-report pricing.

For high-volume or budget-constrained customers, self-hosted paths offer real cost control:
-
Caymin: You absorb in-house support and token costs.
-
Hybrid: You pay cloud costs and token costs.*.
-
Sovereign: Turn-key pricing. Fixed contract. Predictable.

* Hybrid deployment is cost effective for organizations with existing cloud vendor commitments, minimum-spend or fixed cost contracts.
